Job Description

  • Job Title: Operation Manager

  • Reporting Staff:2-5 direct reporting
  • Experience: 7-8 Years
  • Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in business administration, hospitality, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • PayScale: 3 – 5 LPA
  • Industry Preferred: FMCG, Food industry
  • Age Required: 25 – 40 Years

Purpose of the Job

As a Franchise Operation Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the operations of a franchise business. You will work closely with franchisees to ensure that they are following brand standards, meeting operational goals, and delivering exceptional customer experiences. Your role will involve a combination of strategic planning, operational support, training, and performance management.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Regularly visit franchise locations to evaluate performance, provide feedback, and resolve any issues.
  • Monitor and analyze operational data to suggest improvements and boost efficiency.
  • Work with franchisees to create and execute plans that align with company goals.
  • Develop and implement new processes to increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Provide training and support to ensure team members handle their roles effectively.
  • Ensure company-owned outlets run smoothly and profitably by setting up and overseeing effective processes.
  • Maintain strong relationships with franchise owners and customers to improve satisfaction.
  • Assist with all aspects of opening new stores, including working with franchise owners and vendors.

Secondary Responsibilities

  • Assist in performance appraisals and feedback.
  • Implement solutions for franchise issues. Provide conflict resolution training to teams.
  • Address skill gaps and performance issues. Aid in developing and delivering training programs.
  • Work with marketing, finance, and sales alignment.
  • Manage franchise renewals and support development.
  • Be the main point of contact between franchisees and the corporate office.

Staff Supervisory

  • Number of Employees Managed: 2- 5 Direct reports
  • Types of Employees Managed: Assistant manager operation, Operation Executive, NSO Executive etc.

Financial Responsibilities

  • Develop, monitor, and manage budgets for operational areas.
  • Identify and implement cost-saving measures to stay within budget.
  • Preparing Franchise sales report.
  • Ensure proper allocation of costs across different departments or projects.
  • Contribute to financial planning and forecasting for operational needs.
  • Review and approve major expenditures and financial decisions.
  • Manage relationships with vendors to negotiate costs and terms.

Interaction With Partons And Public

  • Build relationships with the local community.
  • Represent and enhance the company’s image.
  • Provide accurate information about products/services.
  • Oversee company events and promotions.

Physical Demand

  • Endure long hours and physically demanding tasks during busy periods.
  • Ability to drive to various locations for site visits and meetings
  • Clear verbal and written communication for interacting with staff and patrons.
  • Capability to lift and carry items up to a certain weight as needed.
