  • Industry Preferred: Franchise business,FMCG,Food Processing

Purpose of the Job

The Assistant Manager Operations supports the effective management of franchise operations by ensuring adherence to brand standards, optimizing performance, and providing essential training and support. This role involves overseeing operational excellence, compliance, and relationship management to drive franchise growth and success.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Visit franchise locations to review performance and resolve issues.
  • Coordinate with other departments to align franchise operations.
  • Manage franchise renewals and support growth efforts.
  • Create and deliver training on operations, customer service, and products.
  • Ensure franchises meet legal, health, and safety standards. Conduct audits to check compliance and quality.
  • Lead problem-solving initiatives and adapt to changing needs.
  • Act as a liaison between franchisees and the corporate office.

Secondary Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with franchise owners and vendors for setup
  • Provide honest and accurate feedback based on observations.
  • Compare processes with industry standards to find improvements.
  • Facilitate communication and coordination between teams for efficient workflow.

Financial Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparing and monitoring budgets for franchise operations.
  • Track and report on budget adherence, identifying variances and implementing corrective actions.
  • Prepare regular financial reports on sales, expenses, and profitability for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Oversee and approve expenditure related to franchise operations.
  • Ensure expenditures are within budget and align with financial policies.
  • Ensure all financial documentation is complete and up to date for reporting and auditing purposes.

Staff Supervisory

Interaction With Partons And Public

  • Franchise owners, clients, Operation executives, Local communities, events, public events, customers

Physical Demand

  • Frequent travel to franchise locations and other sites, which may include driving or using public transportation.
  • Occasionally lifting and carrying items such as documents, equipment, or promotional materials.
  • Ability to handle occasional long hours and manage multiple tasks under pressure.
  • Ability to work in different environments, including office settings, store locations, and outdoor sites, which may involve varying temperatures and weather conditions.

Working Conditions And Environment

  • Work Mode: In Office/ Field work
  • Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent
  • Working Hours: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM, with occasional extended hours as needed.
  • Working Days: Monday- Saturday (Sunday off)

Requirements

  • Required bachelor's degree in business administration, Hospitality management or diploma in relevant field
  • Proven experience in a supervisory or assistant management role, preferably within the franchise or FMCG industry
